You can stop your search for a painter, Amaya Painting is the company you want to hire! I can’t express in a review how happy I am that I found Amaya Painting. I had originally hired Sharper Impressions Painting to paint the exterior of my house, and they totally botched the job and created a bunch of legal costs and stress in my life. I reached out to many painters to fix the paint and trim on my house, but most didn't want to get involved with the mess Sharper Impressions had created. Thankfully, I found Amaya Painting. Alex, Luis, and the rest of the crew at Amaya Painting really know what they are doing. Unlike Sharper Impressions and many other paint companies, Amaya Painting does not use sub-contractors. In fact, most of the crew are brothers and family friends. They are all very professional. They did a great job with prep work including sanding and scraping off the blistered paint Sharper Impressions had applied, power washing the house, taping and covering everything not being painted, priming where needed, etc. They found rotted wood that Sharper Impressions had painted over less than 3 years prior. They installed trim correctly, with caulking between the joints so it won’t rot. They did an excellent job with caulking, making sure every nail, screw, and joint that needed caulking got caulking. They applied paint per the manufacturer’s instructions so it will be under warranty. For instance, making sure the correct spray tip was used, using a paint depth gauge to make sure paint was applied thick enough, and making sure air and surface temperatures were correct. One day when they expected to paint, they had to stop because it was too windy and the paint wasn’t applying correctly. This is shows how much they care about quality. They could have just rushed through, but they chose to do a QUAILTY job instead of a FAST job. Even on the last day of the paint job, Alex walked around the house many times to make sure no spots of caulking or paint were missed. When the job was complete, the guys at Amaya Painting cleaned up after themselves. And most important of all, through the entire process, Alex and Luis were excellent at communicating with me. They knew how nervous I was because of what had happened with Sharper Impressions, and took the time to show me the work they were doing and make sure we were all always on the same page. Alex, Luis, I thank you both again for your expertise, and for the professionalism and kindness you showed while fixing a mess you didn’t create. My house looks great and I know the work will last because it was done right!

I highly recommend Alex and his crew and will use them again. They painted my house exterior and interior (2 bathrooms and master bedroom). They removed popcorn ceiling and did a great job.
